Summary:
performs accounting and clerical tasks to further the day-to-day operations for a recycling company.
Interfaces with both Operations and Sales to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Undertakes day-to-day contacts in a manner that maintains and supports the company's exemplary reputation with both vendors and customers.

Responsibilities:
Review vendor settlements for accuracy and completeness Maintain the Check Register, Cash Disbursements log and Purchase Advance log Input Customer invoices into the General Ledger system Process trade payable checks Prepare and process daily cash receipts Calculate and process weekly payroll time sheets Perform receptionist duties during Receptionist's daily lunch break Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Knowledge, Accounting Skills Required:
Excel fluency to include - copying/pasting, sorting spreadsheet creation Exceptional attention to detail Highly organized Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork Account balancing skills Ability to use an automated accounting system Minimum Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 2 years of experience required Excellent English written and verbal skills Job Type:
