Job Scope:
Provide clinical and administrative oversight to a team of clinicians, peer supports, and others proving a safe place to go during crisis.
Living Rooms embrace the Recovery Model and offer people experiencing mental health crises a calm and safe environment.
The recovery centers are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and people receive care immediately.
This role develops programs and services that specifically respond to the needs of individuals in crisis, need a safe place to relax, and receive resources and referrals to resources.
Ensure agency performance standards for the team are met and that the team is interfacing with other teams efficiently.
The manager will be responsible to administrate this recovery center program within the parameters of our grant.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.

Primary Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day clinical operations and activities of The Living Room - Crisis Stabilization program.
Act as a liaison between team and other departments at KYC.
Coordinate services and programing with our crisis stabilization system at KYC.
Lead team meetings and assure team participation in utilization and peer review.
Provide clinical and administrative supervision of employees including clinical direction and assistance with treatment planning and crisis stabilization response.
Ensure that all clinical activities performed by the team are compliant with standards, policies and procedures of the organization, regulatory agencies, and grant standards.
Provide clinical team leadership, working with the Director of Outpatient Services to develop a vision for the team and communicate this vision with the team.
Provide performance evaluations for supervisees Identify training and development needs of team members and provide and participate in development of team training activities.
Participate in coordination, planning and development meetings between other departments of KYC.
Submit, in a timely and accurate fashion, reports and data as required by the Centers policies and procedures Meet goals and objectives identified through the agency's performance improvement process in conjunction with Director and other Behavioral Health Managers.
Individual Performance Responsibilities Accurately complete reporting requirements to grant funding sources.
Accurately complete clinical documentation and service reporting in a timely manner.
Participate in clinical/administrative supervision, and seek individual consultation with director as needed.
Participate with director in monitoring team staffing needs and hiring and orientation of new staff.
Participate with director in monitoring staff productivity expectations Participate in manager meetings Participate in program planning, service coordination, practice development and quality assurance as a member of Program Services Committee Submit, in a timely and accurate fashion, schedules, timesheets, mileage and other reports required by KYC's policies and procedures Education & Experience Masters or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university of social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
Illinois LCPC/LCSW or equivalent that meets IL Rule 132/140 LPHA designation Knowledge of crisis services systems and experience is preferred.
Must have two years of demonstrated ability to provide clinical and administrative supervision Basic computer proficiency, knowledge of Word and internet skills Schedule/Timekeeping Full Time, Exempt, 37.
5 hours per week Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served, including evenings and weekends Kenneth Young Center offers a robust benefit package that is highly competitive to the market.
