The Technical Customer Service Rep will be responsible for providing technical support to customers of confectionery equipment.
This includes troubleshooting problems, providing technical advice, and resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat Troubleshoot problems with equipment Resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner Maintain customer records and documentation Work with other departments to improve customer service processes Provide high-quality customer service while working directly with customers and end-users, including conducting trainings and answering technical questions about machinery operation and maintenance.
Work closely with the engineering department and technical support team to report design, reliability, and maintenance problems encountered during service.
Work in an office/plant setting.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a service technician, or a similar role is highly desirable.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using computers for reporting and administrative tasks.
