We are seeking Finishers to join our Acme team.
We have both 1st & 2nd shift openings.
Typical hours for our 1st shift position are Monday thru Friday 6:
00am-4:
30pm.
Typical 2nd shift hours are Monday thru Friday 4:
20pm-2:
50am.
2nd shift offers a 10% shift differential in addition to hourly rate.
In this position you will be performing a variety of part finishing operations as an integral part of our team.
Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times.
This position offers a hire-on-bonus.
Job duties:
-Follow written instructions.
-Perform a variety of operations to remove burrs or sharp edges.
-Clean machined surfaces on parts.
-Polish, grind, or buff production parts.
-Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
-Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
The Right Person/What we need from you:
-CNC job shop or machining facility experience is a plus BUT not required.
-Read and interpret work instructions.
-Ability to stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
-Ability to utilize hand tools, operate overhead cranes, lift, and move objects up to 50lbs consistently with occasional heavier weights periodically.
-Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
-Should be able to read and write English.
