Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual to join our small company in a part-time role with the potential for full-time responsibilities.
In this multi-faceted position, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and human resources support to contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
Record and categorize day-to-day financial transactions.
Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies.
Administrative Support:
Manage and organize company files and documents.
Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Human Resources:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
Assist in onboarding and orientation of new employees.
Address HR-related inquiries and support employee relations.
Financial Reporting:
Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Provide financial summaries to management as needed.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Payroll Processing:
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and accessible records of financial and HR transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting and HR regulations.
Prepare documentation for audits, as needed.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and job applicants.
Provide support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, administrative, and/or HR roles.
Proficient in accounting software (e.
g.
, QuickBooks) Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, administration, or HR is a plus.
Previous experience in bookkeeping, administration, and/or HR roles.
Working Conditions:
This is initially a part-time position with flexible hours.
Potential for the role to evolve into a full-time position based on performance and company needs.
The position may involve occasional interaction with clients, vendors, and job applicants.
