- Provide in-home care and support to older adults, some with dementia - Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Assist with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for the individual.
- Engage in social activities and outings to promote socialization and community integration.
- Collaborate with other caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in care for older adults, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication reminders.
