6K - $40K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Groot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections is currently hiring for a Laborer located at their recycling facility in Elk Grove Village, IL! Hours are Monday through Friday 4am to 2:
30pm and Saturday work is available from 4am to 12pm as well.
Regular weekly overtime available after 40 hours.
Responsibilities Include:
o Sorting recycled material onto different conveyor belts and moving material to the appropriate areas.
o Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
o Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
o Assuming custodial duties as needed.
o Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
Requirements:
o Ability to perform minimal computer related tasks.
o Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.
o Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
