Sr. Mobile Applications Developer

Alacrity ITS, Inc. in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking experienced Sr. Mobile Applications Developers to design, develop and test iOS and Android mobile applications. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts, as well as experience with standard tools and technologies, to perform the following duties:
Coordinate with business users, perform analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability.
Develop iOS and/or Android applications.
Create, modify and review code for projects and mobile applications based on specific requirements.
Define project scope, estimate, approach, risks, and assumptions.
Design, develop, maintain, prioritize and execute new or modified mobile applications.
Participate in the technical review of project deliverables, including requirement specifications, functional designs, technical designs and other project documentation to ensure the quality and completeness of the codes.
Assist testing team and testing.
Prepare status reports and communicate to project stakeholders according to professional standards.
Ensure timely delivery of proposed development projects. Provide necessary support, fine tune, and enhancement as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any related IT major that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position providing the required skills and abilities.
In lieu of the above-stated primary academic level and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any related IT major that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus five (5) years of post-degree, progressive and related experience in any position providing the required skills and abilities.
Individuals must also have demonstrable proficiency and experience with the following:
iOS or Android development tools
iOS SDK and/or Android SDK
GIT
HTML5
SQ Lite
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.
No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of the project.
